San Francisco
San Francisco is really worth a visit - it's a nice city with so many different things to see and explore. I can really recommend driving by car through the streets of SF - just try to drive as fast as you can and you get a kind of a rollercoaster feeling :)
More interesting are the giant trees in the Muir Wood - walking through these 80mtr or higher trees reminded me a little bit of Endor...
Ah, and finally - you must visit Alcatraz on a stormy day like we did. As we booked the tour in advance, it happened that we just picked the first storm of the season - which was a really heavy one. When we left the boat on the island, we were simply blown away - the wind was that strong that you couldn't stand on the outside. Not to mention the rain...so, it was a really interesting journey.
Today, we left San Francisco and drove to San Jose where we stay for one or two days.
