Arrived at the new GT location: Amsterdam
Although I dislike travelling by train I tried it out again this time. Everybody told me that it's nearly impossible to drive by car in Amsterdam. Actually, I don't know why people do think this - what I've seem so far on the streets was not worse then some cities in Belgium :) (from the traffic point of view of course).
Now, as always for the DB, my first train from Paderborn had a delay of 20 minutes but fortunately I had a one hour stay in one of the most beautiful cities of Germany: Duisburg...ehm, which due to the delay shortend to 40 mins :)
I arrived in Amsterdam and was blinded by the light, so to speak, as it is actually very warm here and people enjoy the nice weather on the streets. After a short walk from the central station I arrived at the Rho Hotel one hour ago.
I haven't seen that much of Amsterdam right now, but I think it's way too overcrowded - Ghent was much smaller and somehow nicer. Anyways, tomorrow starts the two day hackathon. I'm really looking forward to meet all these crazy people again...and now, let's go to town.
